Abu Dhabi is experiencing a surge in branded residences, with developers launching luxury projects in prime locations. Nord Lifestyle Development has introduced the Dh500 million Henge Residences on Saadiyat Island, marking the company's first venture in Abu Dhabi. The project, slated for completion in Q1 2028, features 166 units, including two duplexes, with apartments starting from Dh1.15 million for studios and Dh4.7 million for three-bedroom units. Nord Lifestyle Development aims for Dh1 billion in revenue over the next three years and currently holds Dh342 million in assets in Abu Dhabi.
The Henge Residences, with a total built-up area exceeding 400,000 square feet, are designed to offer a unique living experience. CEO Maher Rahabi emphasizes Nord's commitment to creating "bold, soulful" communities that align with Abu Dhabi's Economic Vision 2030. This project reflects the growing demand for niche and luxury residential options in the capital.
Adding to the trend, luxury label Elie Saab has partnered with Ohana to develop a 35-story branded residence on Al Reem Island. This project, with prices starting from Dh2 million, is designed to evoke a sense of "movement."
This trend mirrors the branded residences boom seen in Dubai, and is now expanding to Abu Dhabi, with investors willing to pay a premium for the branded experience and quality.
