Dubai's real estate sector is leveraging AI to enhance transparency and efficiency in property listings. The Dubai Land Department (DLD) utilizes an AI-powered Real Estate Advertising Governance Platform to monitor and modify advertisements. Since its launch at Gitex last year, the platform has automatically modified 29% of the 279,000 real estate-related ad listings issued in Dubai.
This initiative aims to boost investor and consumer confidence while solidifying Dubai's position as a global real estate innovation hub. The DLD, through its Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), is committed to ensuring accurate and compliant property advertisements. Recent measures include limiting the number of brokers per property listing and requiring the immediate removal of ads once a transaction is complete.
A key component of this effort is the 'Madmoun' electronic service within the 'Trakheesi' system. This service generates a QR code for every property advertising permit, which real estate companies must display on all ads. This allows potential buyers to quickly verify the authenticity of the advertisement and confirm RERA approval, promoting transparency and trust in the market.
