Sharjah property buyers will benefit from a 50% reduction in real estate registration fees for transactions completed during the ACRES 2026 exhibition, which runs from January 21st to 24th at Expo Centre Sharjah. This initiative, approved by the Sharjah Executive Council, aims to boost market activity and encourage investor participation. The exhibition, organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, boasts its highest participation yet, with over 120 exhibitors showcasing more than 200 new real estate projects across various segments.
ACRES 2026 will feature a wide array of properties, including villas, apartments, and investment plots, within its 10,000-square-meter space. Organizers anticipate over Dh5 billion in property transactions, driven by buyer incentives, flexible payment plans, and the registration fee discount. A key highlight is the launch of Sharjah's first escrow account system for real estate projects, designed to protect buyer funds and increase transparency.
The exhibition will also host over 30 free panel discussions and workshops covering market trends, investment frameworks, and the use of technology in real estate. The inaugural ACRES Podcast will launch during the event, featuring discussions with industry experts.
ACRES 2026 takes place amidst a strong property market in Sharjah, which saw Dh44.3 billion in cash real estate transactions in the first nine months of 2025, a growth of over 58%. The exhibition will be open to visitors from 10 am to 8 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and from 3 pm to 9 pm on Friday.
