Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts is partnering with Eagle Hills to develop a luxurious private island resort in Abu Dhabi, slated to open in 2030. The horseshoe-shaped island will feature 60 hotel rooms and suites, 30 beachfront villas, and 90 private mansions, blending Italian design with Middle Eastern influences. This ambitious project aims to offer complete intimacy while being conveniently close to downtown Abu Dhabi.
Designed by Milanese architects ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the resort's striking facade will incorporate gold and glass, reflecting both Roman architectural grandeur and the region's cultural richness. The resort will include a flagship Bvlgari Villa, a private marina, a 40-berth yacht club, and various culinary experiences, including Il Ristorante – Niko Romito and a Japanese concept called Hōseki. Privacy is a key focus, with expansive mansions offering private docks or beachfronts.
The resort will also feature a 2,000 sq meter spa, a 25-meter lap pool, and a fitness center. The design prioritizes discretion for high-profile guests, with restricted access to the hotel and mansion zones. Bvlgari emphasizes creating a global community of refined and loyal guests, selecting locations based on their unique appeal.
This Abu Dhabi project is part of the city's growing cultural significance and evolving landscape. While Bvlgari is exploring opportunities in Saudi Arabia, the focus remains on delivering an exceptional ultra-luxury experience in Abu Dhabi, redefining luxury in the Middle East.
