The Trump Organization is set to enter the Australian market with the Trump International Hotel & Tower, Gold Coast, marking its first official project in the country. The 91-story building, developed in partnership with Altus Property Group, will be a mixed-use structure in Surfers Paradise, featuring a luxury hotel, residential apartments, and commercial spaces. At approximately 335 meters, it is planned to be the tallest building in Australia upon completion.

The development will include a 285-room luxury hotel and 272 residential apartments. A three-level podium will house an exclusive beach club, retail, and dining spaces. The project aims to revitalize the Surfers Paradise precinct, creating a premium hospitality and residential destination. Construction is scheduled to begin in August, with an estimated cost exceeding $1 billion.

This project will bring a world-class luxury brand to the Australian market. However, the Trump tower faces competition from other developers planning high-rise projects along the Gold Coast. A nearby twin-tower development and the 101-story One Park Lane project could potentially surpass the Trump tower's height.

The Trump Organization operates branded properties globally, including in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the US. Their business model involves both direct ownership and licensing agreements for luxury hotels, residential towers, and golf resorts.
