Expo City Dubai is expanding its role beyond global summits and exhibitions, aiming to become a premier destination for a diverse range of events. The venue, known for hosting COP28 and Expo 2020, is now actively seeking to host weddings, fashion events, and product launches. Nadia Verjee, Executive Director of Expo Dubai Group, emphasizes the city's readiness to accommodate various social events, highlighting its versatile venues and commitment to a dynamic events calendar.

The city is already hosting community-themed events like the "Dubai Run" and sees frequent cycling tours. The "Winter City" attracts tens of thousands of visitors. Expo City Dubai is positioning itself as a key player in Dubai's events landscape, even with the upcoming opening of the Dubai Exhibition Centre in 2026, which will further solidify Dubai's position as a regional hub for exhibitions and conferences.

Expo City Dubai boasts a wide array of spaces, including over 30 indoor and outdoor venues, to support its diverse event offerings. The Connect Conference Centre (C3) provides state-of-the-art facilities with a capacity of up to 1,000 attendees. The city also hosts concerts at Al Wasl Plaza.

The combined offerings of the Dubai Exhibition Centre and the existing venues within Expo City Dubai are designed to create a comprehensive mega-destination for events in Dubai, catering to a wide spectrum of interests and activities.
