Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is emerging as a prime investment destination in the UAE, offering attractive returns in its real estate and hospitality sectors. Speaking at an Investment Summit organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Dubai Chapter, Marjan CEO Abdulla Al Abdouli highlighted the potential for 30-50% Return on Investment (ROI) for investors. The summit aimed to inform Indian expat investors about opportunities in RAK, driven by mega-projects like the $5.1 billion Wynn Al Marjan Island resort and significant investments from RAK Properties.

RAK's real estate market is experiencing robust growth, with Dh6 billion in off-plan home sales and Dh646 million in ready property transactions recorded in the first half of 2025. The emirate's population growth is expected to create demand for approximately 45,000 new homes in the coming years. Tourism is also expanding rapidly, with a target to nearly triple the number of visitors by 2030, supported by plans for up to 15,000 hotel keys on Al Marjan Island. Private developers like BNW Developments are also contributing to the growth with 12 new projects planned in RAK Central, targeting a total inventory of around Dh20 billion.

The summit also highlighted investment opportunities in India, which has seen significant economic development with substantial foreign direct investment inflows. The Indian economy is growing at a rate double the global average, with a thriving equity market. Speakers encouraged investors to consider pre-IPO investments, where returns can be significantly higher than post-IPO investments. Additionally, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in investment decision-making was discussed, emphasizing the importance of "Original Intelligence" to effectively utilize AI for optimal results.
