Dubai is launching a program to transform 50 Emirati real estate brokers into tech-savvy agencies. This initiative, part of the "Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World" campaign, aims to equip brokers with cutting-edge technologies like AI, blockchain, and digital platforms. The program, starting October 27 at Dubai Silicon Oasis, will provide training, access to laboratories, and a sandbox environment for participants to test new ideas. The goal is to create agencies that leverage PropTech to revolutionize property transactions, offering consumers faster, more transparent, and potentially more affordable services.
The six-month program focuses on empowering brokers with the latest technologies, including AI for market trend prediction and property matching, and blockchain for streamlining contracts and tokenization. Participants will learn regulatory procedures, financial management, market analysis, and how to use social media and build online brands. Graduates will receive accredited certificates and a year of mentorship.
This initiative builds on the growing presence of Emirati professionals in the Dubai property market, where the number of Emirati brokers has increased significantly. The program aims to create new jobs and, more importantly, drive economic impact by fostering innovative real estate companies. The collaboration with Dubai Land Department and the New Economy Academy will provide a comprehensive ecosystem for participants to succeed in the evolving real estate landscape.
