An Omani fund, Izdihar Real Estate Fund managed by Bank Muscat, has invested in the real estate aspect of GEMS Education's upcoming Dubai Sports City campus, the GEMS School of Research & Innovation. The new campus, set to open in August, represents a $100 million investment. GEMS Education has previously secured significant investments from Brookfield and Gulf Islamic Investments (GII).

This investment highlights the strong demand for quality education in Dubai and reinforces GEMS Education's commitment to expanding its network of world-class learning environments. Dino Varkey, Group CEO of GEMS Education, emphasized the investment's significance, citing the strength of their education platform and confidence in Dubai as a leading global education hub.

GEMS Education is undergoing significant expansion, including the development of high-fee schools in the UAE. Taaleem, another leading school operator, is also expanding with new campuses for the UK private school brand Harrow in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, indicating a growing institutional interest in the education sector.
