Cape Town is set to welcome a striking new addition to its skyline with the construction of One on Bree, a 41-story mixed-use skyscraper. Located at the intersection of Bree and Strand Streets in the heart of the CBD, the building will reach approximately 131 meters in height, making it the city's second tallest. This ambitious project, developed by Acsiopolis 2, promises a vibrant urban experience, blending luxury living, hospitality, and retail spaces.

One on Bree will feature 505 hotel rooms to accommodate the growing number of tourists, alongside 270 residential apartments for those seeking to live in the city's energetic core. The tower will also include around 4,000 square meters of retail space, creating a bustling hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Adding to the allure, a rooftop swimming pool on the 22nd floor will offer stunning views of the cityscape and Table Mountain. The design will seamlessly integrate the existing historic corner building into its modern glass facade, preserving a connection to Cape Town's heritage.

Construction has commenced, with demolition of existing structures already underway. The project is expected to be completed around 2028, representing a significant investment in Cape Town's urban future. With an estimated built-up area of 66,000 square meters, the project's cost is potentially in the hundreds of millions of dollars, reflecting its prime location and premium finishes. One on Bree is poised to become a landmark, symbolizing confidence in Cape Town's growth and its ability to blend lifestyle, history, and modernity.
