Rugby School Dubai, a new "super-premium" school, is set to open in Nad Al Sheba for the 2026-2027 academic year. This marks the first Middle Eastern campus for the prestigious British institution, famous for its 450-year history and as the birthplace of the sport of rugby. The school will cater to students from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through Sixth Form, offering an authentic Rugby School UK experience.
The new school is a partnership with Aldar Education, and Henry Price has been appointed as Executive Principal. Rugby School Dubai will take over the existing Kent College Dubai campus in Nad Al Sheba. This follows a mutual agreement between Aldar Education and Kent College Canterbury to end their partnership after the 2025-26 academic year. Kent College Dubai will relocate to a new site in 2026 under a new partnership with Laureate Education.
The campus will boast state-of-the-art facilities, including science and technology labs, a 400-seat auditorium, sports grounds, swimming pools, and dedicated spaces for arts, inclusion, dining, and student wellbeing. Aldar Education, which operates over 31 schools, is partnering with Rugby School Global to bring its legacy to the Middle East. All plans are subject to KHDA approvals.
