Dubai's Palm Jebel Ali project has awarded three contracts worth Dh750 million to DBB Contracting. These contracts mark a significant step in developing Dubai's new waterfront destination, with infrastructure completion slated for Q4-2026. DBB Contracting has prior experience on Palm Jebel Ali, including public access and road construction projects.
The infrastructure scope covers Fronds A to G, encompassing utility connections, excavation, backfilling, road and pavement construction, and 11kV power distribution and telecoms. The "spine district" infrastructure includes utility mains, connections to all fronds, and major and secondary road construction, along with grading for the DEWA power transmission line.
Palm Jebel Ali, featuring seven islands, 16 fronds, and over 90 kilometers of beachfront, is designed to redefine global waterfront living. According to Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, the project showcases Dubai's ambition for an innovative luxury lifestyle. The project is expected to establish a new growth corridor in the Jebel Ali area, reflecting the emirate's expansion.
