Rove Hotels is expanding its footprint in the Middle East with a new hotel in Egypt. The UAE-born lifestyle brand announced a partnership with El Sayyad Group to open Rove Sheikh Zayed City. The 240-room hotel will be located on the Cairo–Alexandria Desert Road, providing easy access to popular attractions like the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum, as well as convenient road links to both Cairo and Alexandria. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second half of this year.
The new hotel aims to cater to both leisure and business travelers, with its proximity to Sphinx International Airport and Smart Village. Guests can expect familiar Rove amenities, including an all-day restaurant, swimming pool, gym, and co-working spaces. This expansion into Egypt marks a significant step for Rove Hotels, opening the brand to a new audience in a culturally rich city.
The partnership between Rove Hotels and El Sayyad Group reflects the evolving demands of the Egyptian hospitality market. The project aims to offer well-designed experiences that prioritize social connectivity and local culture. This strategic move combines El Sayyad Group's local market knowledge with Rove's global lifestyle appeal, creating a unique value proposition for travelers.
This expansion is part of a broader regional strategy for Rove Hotels, with upcoming projects in Saudi Arabia and Oman. With millions of tourists visiting Cairo annually and the anticipated opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, Rove Hotels anticipates growing demand for its accessible and well-located accommodations.
