AA Tower, a prominent building on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road, is transitioning to freehold ownership, marking a significant step in Dubai's initiative to boost its real estate market. This move, driven by the Dubai government's decision to allow private developers in key areas like Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Jaddaf to convert properties to freehold, opens up new investment opportunities for both local and international buyers. One-bedroom apartments in AA Tower are listed at prices ranging from Dh3.4 million to Dh4.5 million.

The AA Tower, a 60-story structure, features 369 residential units, including 195 one-bedroom apartments, along with office spaces, retail stores, and ample parking. This conversion to freehold is expected to attract significant interest, given the tower's strategic location and the growing demand for freehold properties in Dubai. Industry experts anticipate a strong market response, positioning AA Tower as a benchmark for future projects and reinforcing Dubai's reputation for offering exceptional investment opportunities.

This initiative, announced in January, allows for the conversion of 457 plots to freehold, with 128 located on Sheikh Zayed Road and 329 in Al Jaddaf. The Sheikh Zayed Road area, already experiencing a surge in new developments, including the Burj Azizi and Trump Tower, is poised for further growth. The availability of freehold options in existing towers, coupled with new projects, provides investors with a diverse range of choices, promising a boom in the Sheikh Zayed Road property market.
