Arada, a Sharjah-based master developer, is launching its first hotel and residential project in Dubai, named 'Akala,' meaning 'beyond time' in Sanskrit. The twin-tower development, located between DIFC and Downtown Dubai, aims to be a wellness and healing destination. Sales for the Dh5 billion project begin May 31, with prices starting at Dh3.79 million for a one-bedroom apartment (1,036 sq ft) and a Dh150 million penthouse (23,673 sq ft).
Akala joins other prominent twin-tower structures in the area, such as the Emirates Towers and One Za'abeel. Arada already has a significant presence in Dubai, with projects like Armani Residences on Palm Jumeirah and W Residences at Dubai Harbour, totaling Dh15 billion in development value. The developer also recently expanded into Australia. Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Executive Vice-Chairman of Arada, emphasizes Akala's focus on holistic well-being and modern living.
The project caters to a global audience seeking enhanced health, personal performance, and relaxation. Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, highlights the convergence of wellness and lifestyle-driven residential experiences that Akala offers. The development adds to the existing options in the Sheikh Zayed Road area, including the Burj Azizi skyscraper and Trump Tower.
