ADGM Registration Authority has expanded its digital real estate services in Dubai, aiming to boost transparency, speed, and investor protection within the growing property sector. This builds upon earlier services and supports Abu Dhabi's vision for a sustainable and competitive real estate market. The shift focuses on "smart services" to improve operational clarity, legal certainty, and market efficiency.
Key additions include a regulated off-plan termination process for managing cancellations, providing a fair and transparent dispute resolution mechanism for developers and buyers. A new reservation agreement registration feature establishes an additional ownership category for future property transfers, ensuring contractual rights are properly recorded and protected.
SMART valuations allow property owners to obtain indicative market values, simplifying transactions and supporting better decision-making. These services are designed to streamline the real estate process and provide more accurate and reliable information to all parties involved.
Looking ahead, ADGM plans to launch a unified escrow account service through its digital platform. This will add a crucial security layer to real estate transactions, ensuring funds are released only upon meeting contractual conditions, thereby strengthening trust between buyers and sellers.
