Dubai Residential is partnering with Dubai Health to launch the "My blood, for my country" blood donation campaign across five residential communities: Shorooq, Ghoroob, The Gardens, Al Khail Gate, and International City. The initiative aims to make blood donation more accessible to residents by bringing donation drives directly to their neighborhoods. This community-focused approach, supported by Al Ameen Service, seeks to strengthen voluntary blood donation and support the UAE's national blood supply.

The campaign has already begun at Al Khail Gate, with over 69 residents participating and contributing approximately 60 units of blood on the opening day. Specialized medical teams are present to ensure the safety and efficiency of the donation process. The organizers anticipate collecting over 200 units of blood across all participating communities.

Ahmed Al Suwaidi, managing director of Dubai Residential, highlighted the campaign's alignment with the company's commitment to community well-being, emphasizing their role extends beyond property management. Dr. Hiba Alhumaidan from Dubai Health emphasized the importance of collective efforts in sustaining healthcare services, highlighting blood donation's reflection of compassion and solidarity within the UAE community.

Upcoming donation drives are scheduled for Ghoroob and Shorooq on May 29, followed by The Gardens on July 10, and International City on July 16. Residents are encouraged to participate in these events to foster a shared sense of social responsibility and contribute to a vital cause.
