As Dubai's population surges, Wasl Group is significantly expanding its affordable housing initiatives. With the city's population exceeding 4 million and growing rapidly, Wasl recognizes the critical need for inclusive and accessible housing options. The group currently manages a substantial portfolio of approximately 45,000 residential units, housing nearly 180,000 residents, with a focus on creating stable, community-driven living environments.

Wasl's approach prioritizes quality living for all income levels, integrating connectivity, community infrastructure, and green spaces into its developments. Examples include Wasl Village in Al Qusais and Wasl Green Park, which offer a range of apartments designed to provide affordable, high-quality urban living. This commitment is further solidified by a recent Memorandum of Understanding with the Roads and Transport Authority and Dubai Municipality.

This partnership aims to double Wasl's affordable leasehold residential portfolio across Dubai. These projects will cover a total area of 1.46 million square meters and will be delivered in phases to ensure infrastructure readiness and community sustainability. This expansion directly supports the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which promotes a balanced housing ecosystem and inclusive communities.

By doubling its affordable housing portfolio over the next five years, Wasl Group is actively contributing to Dubai's economic agenda, supporting workforce stability, and fostering long-term market resilience. This expansion reinforces Wasl's role as a key partner in shaping Dubai's urban landscape and ensuring accessible, high-quality living for all residents.
