The UAE's property market is experiencing a surge of interest in anticipation of potential new Trump-branded projects, possibly coinciding with the US President's upcoming visit. Discussions regarding a Trump Tower in Abu Dhabi are reportedly "pretty serious," although details remain undisclosed. Meanwhile, sales are brisk at the 80-story Trump International Hotel & Tower in Dubai, with two-bedroom apartments starting at Dh4 million and penthouses priced at Dh70 million plus, reflecting the prime Downtown Dubai location.
The Dubai project's launch follows the Trump Tower in Jeddah, with industry sources optimistic about achieving sales targets. The Downtown Dubai location and the inclusion of a hotel across 18 floors further enhance the project's appeal to investors. Both Trump Tower projects in the GCC are being developed by Dar Global, which also collaborates with the Trump Organization on a luxury golfing community in Oman.
This marks the second residential project for the Trump Organization in Dubai, following the Trump Estates in Damac Hills. Villas at Trump Estates, initially priced around Dh3 million to Dh3.5 million in 2013, now transact for Dh5 million and above. The Trump International Golf Club, opened in 2017, adds to the brand's visibility in Dubai's real estate market.
With the successful launch of Trump Tower Dubai and the potential for an Abu Dhabi project, the Trump brand continues to make a significant impact on the luxury real estate landscape in the region.
